The Human Cannonball
Danger and Rock n’ Roll are practically kissing cousins, so it should come as no surprise that acts of daring fit nicely into the Fujirock setting. This year in the Palace of Wonder area you will find the Human Cannonball.

Early on in the fest, the Human Cannonball team was having troubles with the net: the humidity here in the mountains, with the off and on rain, directly affects the tensile strength of the net: too wet and it sags, too dry and it can tighten up to the point that he’ll bounce right off.

Some of our team met these guys on the first night. In their early twenties, these guys ran away to the circus in the most literal sense. Apparently he missed the net on the first practice Thursday. Missed. The. Net. “I knew I shoulda bent my legs a bit more, ” he said, like we know how all this cannonball stuff is done, too.
