Auditions for Fuji Rock’s Rookie A Go-Go stage are now being accepted.  More after the jump.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary under the name Rookie A Go-Go, Fuji Rock’s rookie stage in the Palace Of Wonder is searching for bands to showcase at this year’s fest.  Sponsored by Strummerville, the charity established by family and friends of Joe Strummer to create new opportunities for aspiring musicians, the crowds at Rookie A Go-Go are always primed up for new, exciting sounds.

Full details on how to apply to play Rookie A Go-Go are here and auditions are open to all acts of all genres and nationalities.  Applications will be accepted until May 28 and the finalists will be announced in July.

Last year’s Fuji Rock lineup boasted five former Rookie A Go-Go performers (Sakerock, HiGe, Zukunashi, A Flood of Circle, and Mass of the Fermenting Dregs),  so chosen acts definitely have the potential for bigger and better things in the future at the fest!

Good luck to all who apply.
